【 Mind you 】 　(マインジュー) 続けて発音するとこんな感じかな？意味は、言っとくけど、言っておきますが　見たいな感じです。

ホストマザーと話をしているとき彼女がよく使っていました。
例としてはこんな感じかな？
A: Anne did not ask me to come. Mind you, she is nice.
誰かのことをチョット悪く言った後ででもいい人よ。って感じですね。

【 not bothered 】 　(ノット　ボザードゥ)
= do not care　意味は、気にしない。

A: I'm not bothered whether you go or not.

【 gone off 】 　(ゴーン　オフ)
= spoiled , gone bad 意味は、腐った　悪くなった。

A: These eggs are gone off.

【 isn't it / don't you 】 　イギリス人はよく付加疑問文を使います。
これはとてもイギリスっぽいです。

A: It's a lovely flower, isn't it?

A: You are his teacher, aren't you?

【 carry on 】 　(キャリー　オン)
= continue 意味は、続ける。

例えば、
A: I met John yesterday, and . . . .
B: Carry on.
こんな風に話を話そうか迷ってたりしたらすかさず、Carry on 続けて　みたいな感じに使います。

【 straight away 】 　(ストレイト　アウェイ)
= immediately 意味は、すぐに、直ちに。

A: Could you bring a coffee?
B: Straight away.

イメージとしては、部下が上司に使う感じ。

【 sort it out / work out 】
= figure it out / figure out 　意味は、解決する、計算する。

A: I have no room. Can you help me?
B: OK, I will sort it out.

A: I want to know how much it cost.
B: I will work it out.
